1. Do you have soap for sensitive skin?
Yes! Every bar is specifically designed for every type of skin in mind including the most sensitive. However, because each person is different, please be sure to read all the ingredients carefully. If there are any special requests, please reach out and provide suggestions.
2. What is in your soap?
The base of my recipe is olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and castor oil. Depending on the nature of the soap there may be other specific oils combinations to accommodate specific skin types and reactions which may include sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, safflower oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter, and mango butter. Because we are thoughtful in all ingredients put into our soaps, we add ingredients such as dead sea mineral mud, activated charcoal, and other food ingredients that are great for the skin and help maintain the use of natural products. Because each soap or product may have different ingredients, please be sure to review!
3. How do I know when a particular soap will be released?
Social media is the best place to follow. Soap releases occur every Sunday. Please note, that soaps do take 2-4 weeks to cure; therefore, if there are questions regarding release dates, please reach out and a response will be provided as soon as possible with the requested information.
4. What’s all the talk over handmade vs the stuff at the store?
There are no alcohol, petroleum, or preservatives in handmade soaps. Unfortunately, these ingredients are commonly found in commercial soaps at your grocery store and can irritate, strip, and dry out your skin.
5. I have bad reactions to things with fragrances, what should I use?
That is a common problem with commercial soaps. Holistic Wellness Boutique uses fragrance and essential oils which are of the highest quality. All suppliers are highly reputable, care about their products, and source ethically. All fragrances used are made for skin and are also phthalate free. If you have had a reaction to essential oils or other natural oils, please review ingredients for a bar that contains ones designed specifically for the skin. If there is not one available, please message holisticwellnessboutique@gmail.com on your specific needs, and it will be evaluated to see how we can best serve all customers.
6. Do you ship outside of the U.S.?
Not at this time.
7. Do you do custom orders?
Feel free to email me with your specific request: holisticwellnessboutique@gmail.com. Please note: a custom order would require 15 bars at a minimum.
8. Cancellations/Returns/Refunds
Due to the nature of the soap, I do not accept refunds or returns. Cancellations will not be accepted after the order has been shipped. Refunds will not be given for a change of mind. Refunds will not be given for allergies or reactions. Ingredients are clearly defined on the label, therefore please be sure to read the descriptions!
